Creamy vanilla oAts

These creamy vanilla oats are one of my go-to breaky options particularly in the cooler months because they are comforting, creamy, sweet and leave me feeling satisfied and energised for the morning ahead!

Ingredients :

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1 1/2 cup milk or water

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

  • 1 heaped tbs chia seeds

  • Fruit of choice - my favourites for this recipe are: banana, strawberries or blueberries

  • Greek yoghurt

  • Big spoonful of peanut butter

  • Drizzle of honey (optional for sweetness)

Method:

  • Add oats, liquid and chia seeds into pot and cook on low heat. Continually stirring for about 3-4 minutes until the oats come to a boil. Let simmer and stir for 1 more minute and then pour into bowl.

  • Add Greek yoghurt, fruit and peanut butter to top
